About us
Who are we?
VVA is a large volleyball club in Amsterdam. We offer volleyball at all kinds of levels and for all ages from 6 year old. We have a large youth department and we have teams for both men and women participating in the official competition organised by the volleyball association (the Nevobo). This competition is organised for all levels, from beginner to advanced. Next to that, we have a group of recreational players, who practice at our club and play a tournament occasionally, but who don't play in the official competition.
We do not only play volleyball at our club, but we also organise several parties and activities each season to have fun with your teammates and other club members whilst having a drink (or two..).
Youth
VVA also has the largest group of youth players in Amsterdam. There are plenty of opportunities for children between age 6 and 18, with for each player a team at a suitable level, with fun teammates and experienced coaches.
Parties and activities
Beside the regular practices and matches, VVA also organises a wide range of other activities. Think about a camp, a running dinner, a 2x2 tournament, and most importantly: the legendary parties.

If you want to join us for a practice training session, then the best way is to get in touch with our technical committee and they'll be able to give you an idea which group might be best suited for you to join. The first two practice sessions are free of charge and after that, you'll have to make up your mind if you want to join us or not.
